An excellent textbook

This was the book chosen by my professor for an undergraduate music history course, and I can safely say that it is an excellent textbook. Plantinga's writing style is wonderfully clear and to the point, and well... respected musicologists become respected for a reason. Plantinga is one of the foremost authorities on 19th century music, and his knowledge and scholarship are extremely evident throughout the book. I would advise all music professors teaching 19th century music history courses to consider this textbook before all others.

The book is a beautiful glance at the Romantic period in music, and it reveals resources that would be great reading in the future. It got here quickly enough for me to benefit from it, and I would recommend it for professors, teachers, or music history buffs.

Have you ever just wanted some quiet, alone time?

All mothers will easily be able to relate to Mrs. Large. Mrs. Large just wants five minutes of peace away from her three children, so she decides to take a bath. Minutes later her children join her, one by one, and end up in the bathtub with her. Finally she has had enough, and goes downstairs "where she had three minutes and forty-five seconds of peace before they all came to join her."
Mrs. Large and her family are all elephants, which causes for some absolutely wonderful drawings. My favorite is probably when she is sitting in the bathtub, sipping tea, while wearing a yellow flowered shower cap. The pictures in general are really cute, colorful and expressive. The story is told in a very straightforward, endearing manner. In my opinion, this is a great book.

For the Guilty (feeling)

This was one of the boys' favorite books when they were small! And mine too. I never tired of reading it to them! My aunt is a child psychologist and has this and others by Jill Murphy in her waiting room. There are too many parents out there feeling guilty.....this book will take the sting out of guilt and replace it with the knowledge that you are not the only parent who just wants five minutes of peace and quiet!!!!!

Hilarious "Mom-tries-to-get-peace-from-kids" tale

Has a plot that EVERY mother will know all too well. Mrs. Elephant futilely tries to relax in the bath; this is impossible with her three active kids. Illustrations are colorful and funny, so is the story. Great gift for ages 3-5 years; older siblings will enjoy listening to it as well.

Starting from black-body radiation, the photoelectric effect, and wave-particle duality, Greiner goes on to discuss the uncertainty relations, spin, and many-body systems; he includes applications to the hydrogen atom and the Stern-Gerlach and Einstein-de Haas experiments. The mathematics of representation theory, S matrices, perturbation theory, eigenvalue problems, and hypergeometric differential equations are presented in detail, with 84 fully and carefully worked examples and exercises to consolidate the material. This fourth edition has been revised and makes the book up-to-date again.

One of the best Textbooks on non relativistic QM

I've read all the 3 Greiner's books concerning non relativistic Quantum Mechanics (and other on QFT). First I've to underline that you may find many text-errors in those books. (QM: an introduction, QM:Special Chapters, QM:Symmetries): for everybody who is a bit familiar with Mathematics this can not be a big problem. On the second hand, you have to read all the 3 Greiner's books on Q.M. to have a great overview on this matter: every mathematical part is essential but complete. One has to follow and understand most of the calculations inside: this is the only way, generally in Physics, to earn a good Mathematical level, and be able not to concentrate too much on Mathematics while trying to understand the Physics behind. As last point I've to underline that only by reading Greiner's "Relativistic Quantum Mechanics" book, one is able to understand the meaning of introducing Field Theory formalism in "Q.M.:Special Chapters" and will appreciate it a lot: in fact everything is going to be easier on the following matters; apart of this I think it's great to treat Statistical Mechanics with operators as soon as possible, as Greiner does in Q.M.:special chapters. Lot's of importance is given to symmetries and Group theory (Q.M:symmetries) as a modern point of view pretends.

Great Book

I was read this book with big interest. It is a very good source of the nature of mindfulness, the ways you can use it in your daily living, including mindful eating and different types of yoga. I will definitely get a few more books as gifts to friends. A very simple explanation to different types of relaxation techniques, and they do work eventually, but like everything you have to put the work in. An excellent introduction to mindfulness, especially for beginners. Gave me some great tips on relaxation! There is a great deal of useful stuff in this guide which has helped me get along with all the stressful things in my life. I'm hoping to keep working on these tips with good faith. The author did a great job.

Anxiety is a very dangerous thing. It makes your brain full of negative ideas. It affects your mental health. It also has a bad impact on your body and life. This book provides some alternative solutions to overcome it. The book begins with the causes and symptoms of anxiety. such as Environmental causes, social causes, biological causes and physical causes. then it gives some mindfulness exercises. It also portrays the mindfulness meditation. the book also provide some information on how to motivate yourself. this is a fantastic book. I really loved it. I think it needs to be read more than once. the book is well organized and written​. The authour style is easy to understand and clear. great experience.

Learn to reduce stress and promote inner peace

This book provides an excellent, concise guide on tips for people to take everyday to reduce stress and find happiness. It covers the in-depth topic of mindfulness in a relatively straightforward way that I think anyone could understand, as well as implement in their everyday life. I personally have taken a lot from reading this and it has helped me to reduce some of the anxiety I was harbouring over some recent life events that have happened to me. I can better deal with these events and their impact on my life thanks to this book.

HOT, SEXY AND OH WOW

Well Occupational Therapy is book two in the Billionaire Dominance Series by Abi Aiken and Rozlyn Sparks. It starts where Submission Therapy ends and you will be totally drawn in.

This book hot and sexy, you will totally fall in love with Master Sweet/ Doctor Mason Jardine. You will fall under his spell just like Christina. It make you wonder what it would be like to be commanded by him.

I managed to read this in a few hours it is short and fast but it will leave you wanting more. I can't wait to read book Three to see how this ends or where these two authors take us.

This series so far is definitely a 5 star series.

Occupational Therapy picks up where book one left off, Christina is working to try to understand how Master Sweet can make her want to submit to him.
She's still struggling to let go of her need to control and work on her health issues.

All seems to be going well until Master Sweet asks something of her that is too much for her, it goes against a deeply ingrained belief that sends her away with the situation unresolved.

We get a bit more of an inside look at both Christina and Master Sweet in this volume, I look forward to book 3 to see if Christina truly can let go and submit completely.

Wow, scream, want more.

I love this short series, but hate that there is a CLIFFHANGER. You can connect with these characters, but I do wish that it was a full story or will lead up to a full story soon.
Overview. Christina is ready for her next lesson with Master Sweet. Master Sweet is testing Christina's limits. He knows what she needs, mentally, physically, and emotionally. But Christina is having a hard time excepting it. Will Christina except the next stages or will she lose her master and everything she has gained from this experience.
